Abdalle Ahmed Mumin
A prominent Somali journalist and human rights activist, Mumin cofounded the Somali Journalists Syndicate (SJS), an organization instrumental in advocating for press freedom, providing support to journalists facing threats, and challenging oppressive governmental directives aimed at censoring the media. Mumin’s dedication to journalism and human rights has subjected him to displacement, torture, and persecution, yet he remains committed to advocating for human rights and press freedom in Somalia through the relentless pursuit of truth.
