Corruption is an underlying force that weakens democracy and the rule of law, contributes to human rights violations, restricts freedom of expression, and undermines integrity in public life. Its effects extend across societies, eroding trust, opportunity, and the institutions people rely on.
Addressing corruption requires more than exposing wrongdoing. It requires courageous leadership, informed and engaged citizens, new ideas and evidence, and a strong international community committed to advancing integrity. These needs shape the Foundation’s four interconnected objectives.

Corruption is a complex global problem that requires action across institutions, communities, and borders. The Foundation works to strengthen the people, ideas, and networks capable of driving lasting change. We pursue this work through four interconnected objectives below.
We provide leaders opposing corruption with financial freedom, international influence, and political protection – empowering them to speak out and drive lasting change.
Through powerful short films viewed millions of times, we spotlight success stories about opposing corruption, sparking hope, nurturing courage, and inspiring action around the world.
Our events feature bold voices and key research that educates, challenges, and inspires new ideas to solve one of the world’s most pressing issues.
By connecting diplomats, advocates, scholars, and changemakers, we are forging a united front in building societies without corruption.
