Comfort Ero is the president and CEO of International Crisis Group. Across her time with the International Centre for Transitional Justice, the International Crisis Group, and the United Nations Mission in Liberia, Ero has distinguished herself in the fields of conflict prevention and peacekeeping. Ero received her PhD from the London School of Economics.

She sits on the board of directors of several prominent journals, including International Peacekeeping and the International Journal of Transitional Justice and chairs the Board of Directors at the Rift Valley Institute.
